Bought a bubble shield for my Bell Custom 500. (Yes I realize it's not a vintage helmet) I had the shield for about 20 minutes of riding before it decided that it had enough of being on the helmet. Not sure where it wanted to go, but either way, it did not stay attached to the my helmet. I've come to the conclusion that bubble shields must be female!
I decided this time around to buy a short shield and make sure it can't go anywhere! Not sure if anyone has done something like this before. I just went for a ride with it and it seems to work quite well and even reduced wind noise just a bit!

If anyone is curious, I believe the bolt size is a machine thread M4.
