Well finally starting on my 78 CB550. Figured I would start a quick thread. Don't plan on doing much this season but I want to remove the rear fender, bought a new tail light but still trying to decide how to build my new fender. Going to change the signal lights and bought new 400f style bars. Been working mostly at getting the bike in proper running order so had the carbs off and cleaned and set the floats just waiting on some vacuum gauges so I can sync them other than that I'm hoping it will be good to go. Threw my new bars on but now I need to change my master cylinder to something a little smaller in physical size so hopefully I can find something to work.

I'm thinking for this season just get the fenders changed out, I've got new signal lights and tail lights to mount up. Also looking at going with a 4-1 exhaust but I might wait. I've got a spare motor from a 77 I want to tear apart and possibly do a 650 cam and clean the ports up then I can swap it in when it's ready with minimal down time. I would also like to get some smaller gauges and just tidy the bike up.
