Just kidding ;D Thought i'd share these CAD concept with you guys though. I saw at kneeslider while looking for inspiration for our harley project bike. These is the official site that came out with the concept: http://www.markvanderkwaak.com.

May be the odd man out, but I don't like it... Looks a little too overboard to be a cafe and not quite right for a chopper. I do like all the other bikes you've built though (at least the bikes I've seen on your site).

Gorgeous, but I don't understand how it would function.
The rear suspension has a coil spring that appears to work in tension, and the front suspension has an a arm that moves in an arc, connected to a fork that's constrained to slide in a line. Needs more pictures.

Auww! You got me all worked up, that's my favorite CadBike!

The front suspention is a telelever. His stuff is usually pretty well thought out. I'd guess that the lower front strut of the frame comes out with the motor, its bolted to the motor on the other side... in kind of an awkward way. I can't tell how the rear linkage works but he mentions working out how to get it to push instead of pull.

I really like the idea of using a mono shock in lieu of fork shocks. The tank is pretty sick. I can def see some of these concepts making it to the street. The rear susp has me a bit confused and it definately needs some copper stuff (obvious personal taste of mine). ;D

What version of CADD are you running?

I was curious about how the front suspension worked too, so i emailed the guy a while ago, he said

"both trees rotate on ball joints (just like the new BMW forks) There are some plans to build this bike, but nothing definite yet.

The bmw's telelever design looks really nice and a nice alternative look for the front suspension design in motorcycles, but BMW themselves dumped the concept when it was time to make their new superbike S 1000 RR, maybe for next year's moto GP. They just went for a more simple ohlin's conventional inverted telescopic forks. I like the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) concept better.

If you take a close look at the front suspension it uses normal fork legs that are held fixed at the top . The lower portion is attached to an a-arm with pivots at the frame and ball joint at the forks . The a arm has a single coil shock attached at the center and a frame mounting point. When the forks compress the a-ram pivots up compressing the shock.

This is just a typical car type suspension setup. It is a unique way of doing the suspensionon a bike.
