I recon that's a good idea, tbh you can use anything to get a basic shape.

You could use your mesh and then put a clay over that. U can shape that all u want , get that to a nice finish an then you could lay 2 layers of woven twill cloth over that, that will give a nice even layer as a posed to fibreglass strand Matt .

Then finalise with a light skim of filler , high build 2k primer an your done mate



The limit is only your imagination when it comes to glass work

all of that is new territory for me, so we'll cross that bridge when i get there. haha

just browsing craigslist and found a bike for sale, which has the frame structure of the tail im thinking about doing. just thought id share. also, wheels and swingarm are still out at powder pro, having mucho trouble trying to match the gold. hopefully ill see them back next week. hopefully.

i know right? single sided swingarm, updated front end, he definitely had some money poured into it.. i just want to take a hack saw and take the tail though. although if he was just giving it away for dirt cheap.. i might.

got a small update, got some progress pictures of how the tanks coming along, should be done in a few weeks. excited about how everything is coming along. wheels and tires should be back and mounted this weekend.

thanks fellas.. just ready for things to come back to the shop.. wheels have taken a grip to get done, but should be finished by the end of the week, or so ive been told. lets keep the fingers crossed.

nice man, yeah my frame is just sitting around on the shop floor waiting for parts to come back, I need everything back so I can get things mocked up, get my rearsets figured out, then get it all torn back apart and painted/powdered. haven't heard anything about my wheels yet so im assuming this is going to be at least another week or so.. and the tank guy is now on vacation for another week as well. sweet...
