new camera from an old member

ive been without a camera for over a year now. got a KZ650 in that time and been toying with it ever since. recently finished up a few things and still in the middle of some other things. here are some photos cuz we all like photos. lots more work to do.

Looks good. What's the cowl across the front look like?

Staffy, ill have to borrow the camera again to get a picture from the front. kind of forgot that angle. its a simple piece of black plexi that i heated in the oven and formed over a cylinder. cut out a hole for the headlight, made up some brackets that mount it on the turn signal stalk/headlight bolts, and Bob's your uncle. not fancy or pretty

here is my starting point.

this was the first iteration of the seat. thats a tshirt for a seat cover.

more pics soon. ive even got a camera coming just so i can create a more proper build. ive got a few things coming up on this bike to show everyone.

apparently its ABS. someone had some left over so i grabbed it. i took a piece of it and threw in to the oven at about 150* for 4min. when i took it out i layed it over a cylinder. it took me a few tries but it molds easily and cools quickly. keep it away from the heat source in the oven.
