New electrical set up, no spark doesn't even turn over

So for some reason I decided to take on a 1974 CB360 project. The guy I bought it from had started converting it to a cafe racer, but there was a bit of work to do yet. When I got it, it had a headlight, twilight and nothing else. It was wired to run on a capacitor, and you all know how well that works on these bikes. I decided to get a new harness from Sparck Moto and use an 8 cell lithium iron battery. I finally got the thing wired enough so it should at least start and there is nothing. I mean absolutely nothing. It has become a rolling paper weight and I have no idea where to go from here. I've checked/replaced everything I can think of short of the coils and stator. Not to mention, it ran before I decided to do all of this.

Well, start from the basics...Does the battery have a charge? is 12.6 volts going to one post of the solenoid? are the fuses good (if you have them). with the key on, 12V should go to one wire (the smaller ones) on the solenoid. if so, grounding the other wire will cause the solenoid to activate and connect the starter to the battery. If you have 12V to the solenoid and the wire grounded, then the solenoid is bad.

Is the headlight going on? Dash lights? If you are completely dead, but battery has charge, then a wire is off or broken somewhere. Use a test light and trace the 12V + from the battery, to the next connector, to the next connector, etc.....When you come to the connector without 12V, you found the break.....

If electricity leaked like water out of a pipe, it might be easier, but the idea is the same....
