New from Eastern NE

Just a quick introduction. I'm working on a recently acquired '71 CL350 and stumbled upon this amazing forum. I'm spending so much time reading through that my wife is yelling at me to spend more time in the garage! That's a good problem to have!


About me: I grew up in Western Nebraska literally in a Honda shop. My first "project" was a '74 XL-70 when I was 11. Got it for a steal because it didn't run. A quick carb clean later and I had a sweet bike. Since then I've had a few other Honda love affairs. My current driver is a 2004 919 (CB900F to keep it in the family).


Anyway, here's my project bike:

I've got some work ahead. I'm going to start a project post to keep myself motivated and to try and tap into the amazing amount of knowledge on this board.

This one came from Grand Island, but you may have seen it on Craig's List. The guy also had a CL450 that I liked better, but I couldn't talk him down any on that one. This should be a good learning experience. In a perfect world it'll be a stepping stone on my way up to a sweet GL1000 build someday... 8)
