New from NC

Speedfiend

Coast to Coast
Howdy, my names Daniel Huggins. I live in Hendersonville NC. I grew up with vintage Brit bikes. Never had anything new or Japenese. I love cafe racers, choppers, hotrods, drag racing(any racing but stockcar), 70's vans, mini trucks, Vw's, lowriders, high rises, and just about anything that kicks or hauls ass. Since I started looking around on the intra web foruns,I've realized I don't know as much as I thought. So I don't post too much and I try to stick to subjects that I have first hand expierance with. Also, pardon my spelling, I'm dislexic! Heres my junk.

That triton rocks! What mods have you done to it?

Wish I had the money for a brit bike, but I don't so honda it is. I'm currently in Greenville, SC not an hour from you. I flew an ultralight up in Hendersonville a couple years ago. Beautiful area. Prime riding location.

Cheers from the best riding country this side of the Mississippi!!!!

Thanks guys. The Triton is one big mod. Pop and I built it from the ground up. The cases are 58 TR6, but its a 70 bonnie from the crank up. A little porting and polishing, and a few other tricks in the top end. Slickshift gear box. 62 (rotor/stator) primary w/ duplex chain and late model clutch basket. The frames a 64' slim line w/ a 2" under 69' Commando front end.
The swing arm is a Triumph unit for a wider tire. The hubs are custom drilled and PC'd. The seat is hand made fiberglass/leather. The gas tank is from TA baker. The pipes are custom w/ 441 BSA mufflers(slightly reworked).

Don't get the wrong idea, though. I'm a poor working stiff. Brit bike don't have to be expensive. I could never afford to buy a bike like mine, I buy stuff cheap and spend countless hours, but few dollars!
