New Guy Boston Cafe

Hey everyone,

New to bikes and cafe racers, but I have worked as a mechanic in the Coast Guard for the last few years in Seattle on an ice breaker, and now I am here in Boston doing Pollution Investigation. I am going to be picking up this CB550 on Sunday, and was wondering what you guys thing of it for a cafe build. Once I pick it up, I will start a thread on my build... Thanks and can't wait to check out everyone's work.

Awesome bike for a project. What front end is that on there? 98 GSXR 600?

2002 Suzuki GSXR 600 front end 2005 Suzuki GS 500 rear disc brakes

Any suggestions on what I should do with this thing?

Cool yea the 97-02 GSXR 600 frontends are basically the same.

All depends on how much you want to spend and fab up yourself.
