Been Around the Block
Greetings from Russellville, AR. I'm Andy, and I've stumbled across a few builds from the site while searching the net for ideas. Hopefully I can be of some use as well as get some good info and advice as I move a long with my projects. I'm on SOHC4.net also with the same username. Feel free to hit me up, pick on my projects, or offer up advice. Thanks.

Welcome to DTT man!

Nice bikes. Be careful with that 360 though. The first year bikes had head issues and Honda did a recall to fix it. Theres a way to check and make sure yours was fixed but I cant remember how. Theres some threads here that explain it.

I haven't pulled the valve cover off yet to check for the dreaded cam and cam chain tension issues, but the P.O. said the oil was clean as a whistle. I'll probably do some looking before I get too deep into it. Thanks for info.

AAHHHhhhhhh

Someone who can confirm how AWESOME the switchbacks are going up/down Mt. Nebo. : )
I've been wanting to stop by the Honda dealership down there too. Their website shows some interesting used bikes.

If you trust your brakes and your abilities, Nebo is a hoot. Not for the faint of heart. Yeah, Honda of Russellville goes through a lot of used bikes. I frequent their site too and go visit for test rides on occasion.

The number on the engine was stamped with two dots one above and one below the dash in the number if it had the recall work done. Other than that Nice 750! I'd take either if I found them around is. ;D

Thanks for the info and compliment. I just checked and noticed there aren't any punch marks on the engine case no. or the frame. I had read in some cases the mechanics didn't follow spec and just punched marks in a fairly obvious spot on one or the other. No such luck on this one. I read the tensioner update, and it looks pretty easy to check and adjust. I still have to build a harness, find some carbs, and mock up some controls before I'm ready to fire it. I will have to get a thread going for it, so you guys can chime in on things.
