New Guy from California with 78 xs750

I just picked up a 78 xs750 and I have plans to make a Cafe Racer out of it. I've been riding for about 5 years and recently sold my GSXR, so I have plenty of time to work on this one. I'm really liking this site and all the information found here. Here's my bike as it looks right now. Someone did a couple things to it already but I'm going to build it my way. The seat is off but It came with the original one.

I have a 79 I'm planning on either going cafe or selling it to get something smaller. These look great as a cafe but I love the look of a cafe single. Also, mine has been sitting for 14 years, and I'm not sure I want to get into it. Haha!
