Well i got this honda from my dad as payment for putting in a motor to a car he just bought. Its a 1966 honda cb160. Its missing a lot and is spray painted a few layers of blue and silver. This is my first motorcycle and i love how easy and simple it is to work on. My dad has a huge yard full of bikes old new parts and i have been picking stuff here and there to help put together this thing. Well this site has help me out quite a bit already. So im glad to be part of this forum.

I have done quite a bit of work already the attachment shows the bike how i originally got it.

Man, these old bikes look so good. I really love that old style. New stuff is slick, but old stuff is timeless and unique. Very cool! very very cool!

Thx the only things not stock are clubman bars, mirrors, seat, and maybe exhaust. I just dropped the motor and began taking it apart then off to my dads and go in the direction he tells me to get the motor rebuild and running. Nothin too fancy or flashy just a nice bike to ride.

Welcome to DTT. Very cool little bike. The old 160/175s are a blast to ride. Theres also a pretty big cult following for them. Lots of go fast tricks floating around.

Ya, I have a little envy for your project.. its gonna be so cool to buzz around on that thing. There is always going to be some dude on a tricked out new bike, but where ever you go on this thing, all eyes will be on you!

Some small updates.
Everything wired up lights horns ect. Front brakes rear brakes done and adjusted. Speed cable done also.seat mounted not great..... I need to redo. Motor awaiting parts.

the early 160's are really cool, I like them and the cb77's more than the later ones, they definitely had a unique look before they started taking design more queues off the european bikes
