Hey everyone! My name's Dave and I signed up a few weeks ago. Just been lurking in the shadows until now. Pretty new to bikes, I've only been riding a year, but I went to school for auto mechanics and love to do my own work with the help of books and the internet.
Recently got into bikes (weirdly with help from the scene from Benjamin Button where he rides the old Indian Scout for about 5 seconds) and even more recently into the cafe racer scene.
Bought a 1974 CB125s last year, restored it and sold it. Then bought a '78 CB550K which I'm cafe-ing out to my liking.
Here's a before and after. Work in progress as always. Hope to get some help from you guys and would love to help some of you out too if I gain enough knowledge.
