Well We finally got in the older motorcycle scene. I've loved anything with a motor since 1987 when I was born. I raced motocross till I was 17 until I realized you can drink beer on a lifted 4 wheeler and have a blast. I still love to ride and always will. We just picked up a 1975 Honda CB360t a couple months ago. I'm excited to do my first build and share it with you on here. I've got alot of parts in the garage to put on and lbs to be taken off. I will have a pic later of when we first got it, all original, and in this pic is how it sits now. I've only wrapped one pipe, we have new bars that are in the pic, carbs just got cleaned and I have filters for that, I'm putting a 4 or 8 cell anti gravity battery to be hidden and using the original tool box that came on it. I have alot of idea but just wanted to share this with you so far! If any of you have any right off the bat input please share and if you need any original parts I do have everything sitting in a box :)

It looks like you've got the makings of good city racer. One thing I've noticed in my own build, is that there's not much access fat on these small bikes. Even if you de-tab and hack your fenders, run a smaller light weight battery..... you might save 25 lbs. I'm not saying that it's not worth doing, it certainly is. I'm just saying that it's not nearly as satisfying compared to the guys who trim 60 lbs off of a CB750.
 
The bike didn't run, the man said it ran a while back but just sat up. I am installing a new wiring harness tonight and putting on the carbs and I'm hoping to crank it. The petcock was trash from sitting up and carbs were in horrible shape. So I'm crossing my fingers. I just got the new Firestone tires put on.. They are big but look real good I don't remember the size off the too of my head.

I know what you mean about poundage on the 360's vs the 750. I would love to do one next but I might do an older Yamaha or Kawasaki. Still undecided, but once I get this thing going running and everything buttoned up I wouldn't mind doing some paint. I mostly want black wheels and the head of the motor black. We'll see.

Come 5 o'clock it will be coors light and wrenches.

Is there worries about these bike I need to know about? I tried to check spark last night but got nothing but I also have the whole wiring harness torn apart and figured that's why. I have the new one laid out some I'm plugging that in and the carbs put on ASAP and hopefully she will crank. Any pointers to check before I do that?
 
360s have always been infamous for top end oiling issues. They will absolutely eat themselves alive in minutes.
also, Cam chain guides are fragile, easy to break and they wear out. Nowadays, virtually impossible to find. I have been watching Ebay regularly, (atleast 5 times a week) for the past 4-6 months, simply to keep current on 360s. An educated seller would be crazy to ask less than $200, and that would be for a crappy yet usable worn pair. And you would be lucky to get those. I have been quite shocked they havent begun to occasionally pop up. Full blown auction style w a reserve set and everything.
