Howdy folks! New guy here from IL in the far north 815. Been wrenching on bikes for some time now. 40 years old...2 kids, wife, 2 boxers. Currently have a 83' kdx 250, a 81 cm400t, 1/2 a triumph t250 (parts), and a small stash of odds n ends parts.

Planning on doing a LIGHT mod to the cm400. that pesky stamped frame don't leave much to be desired in the cafe department. Those bars HAVE to go! I cant stand bars with more than 2" of rise. But first and foremost...get the thing dialed in.

Anyway, thought I'd do my intro since signing up a few days ago.

Thanks trek. Here is a shot of the bike. Nothing but stock BS right now. Original tank is shot with rusty pinholes. Currently looking for a E model tank (or something else that fits this with only minor modification).
