New Guy from Michigan

Guess I'll add my "Hi I'm new here" post to the long list!
My name is Aaron I'm in Auburn Hills, I'm 35, and I've had bikes since I was about 13. I've got a wife and two boys 8 and 2. Currently I'm starting work on a CB360 I've had for 10 years or so but haven't done a damn thing with. My plan is to build a little cafe bike with parts I bought years ago. It's a mess right now. I had a cb 450 and a cb 750 back in the day but both are gone now. I've also got a yamaha ls2 100 twin and a couple of dirt bikes. My other passion is cars, I've got a 60 chevy wagon, a 31 model a coupe, a 49 chevy pickup, a 72 chevy blazer, and a 1990 miata that was my mom's.
Yeah When I die I win.....

Anyway looking forward to being apart of the forum and meeting other fella's from around the area. This summer I attended Billetproof in Yipsilanti and checked out the bike shop there in Depot town, very cool and it's what got me thinking about bikes again.

Welcome to DTT. Theres a decent amount of members up your way. Lets see some pics of all these rides man!

Thanks!
Ask and ye shall receive, although I don't have any pictures of the bikes yet, just imagine a filthy cb with the carbs hanging off it ha!

Aaron, welcome! I'm up in Lake Orion. Always good to have more Michigan folks.

Cool cars. I especially like the wagon. A friend of mine used to have a fuel injected '57 Nomad. I loved that car.

LOVE the wagon! i am in Mi all winter long on snowmobile trips bud, pretty much every other weekend as soon as the UP gets enough snow to not tear up the sleds! maybe we can meet up for a beer or something! welcome to the site

JRK it sounds like a plan. I am at I75 and M59 so pretty easy to find!

I went to EMU, so that is cool that there are others from yipsi

75 and 59? Ever been to Muldoon's, Could be I've seen you in there. I grew up right there.

yup I've been there, though I go to Stan's more often and a new place that opened next to Stan's.
Honestly with an 8 year old and a 2 year old I don't get "out" as much as I used to..

Welcome man ! I'm right down the road in Rochester hills! I have a cb350 I'm working on. Cool to see someone local! I'm waiting on a clutch lever in the mail to ride mine, but I'm always down to work and learn on bikes, let me know if you could use an extra hand!

I'll let you know, right now I'm still in deep on my model A, but I'll be moving to the bike here soon. I need to get her running first then start the change to a cafe bike. I'm still figuring out what exactly I want to do. Your welcome over anytime, I'd like to check out your bike also!

Here are some more pictures of my wagon, and some pinstriping I've done, I thought I had more pictures on this computer of things I've striped...
