Stumbled upon this site the other day and had to become a member! I'm really impressed with some of the projects happening on this forum and look forward to getting involved myself. I've always loved the Cafe style and culture. I'm currently on the hunt for a project of my own, I'm hoping to create a Tracker one of these days.

Not sure what your budget is.. but craigslist always has some junkers... just ready for someone to come hall them off and restore them. I even try spelling things wrong on craigslist search just to find the posts that were spelled wrong. That is how I got my current project. The person had no idea about listing my bike as a cafe racer project... so it just sat listed as a suzuki motorcycle...

Rare motorcycles are fun to make new, but parts are more expensive. I would say stick with a 70's cb750!
