Hey guys, just moved to Orange County from New York. I've been on this forum for a bit, but mainly lurking around.
Here's the scoot as she currently sits: 1974 cb450k7 with a budget garage cafe build.
This leads me to a pretty serious question for all you Southern CA guys; about a month after moving here it appears oil is getting into the right side combustion chamber. Compression is healthy at temp (165+/-) not great I know but not terrible, but im still burning oil and fouling plugs on the right side. NOt sure if it's valve seals or what. Overall, the bikes really running like hell right now and I could use a second opinion. I'm a very capable diy'er but i'd still like someone to assess the health of the engine overall.
Who is the GO-TO for vintage hondas in OC? I want someone who isn't a hack. I'll need some diagnosis and i'd also like to have the tank acid washed and sealed.
Welcome guys, and thanks for the help! Whens she back to running 100% i'd like to get out on a few rides.
