Hotdog.
Been lurking the site for some time now and just thought I'd introduce myself before writing up my build thread. I grew up here in Salt Lake City, Utah and have been riding/racing dirt bikes for over twenty years. So about a year ago I decided I was going to try racing on pavement, and where better to start than on a classic CB350 twin :) Here's a pic of what I started with---

You keeping those bars on it? I think they look great.

My girlfriend lives in Salt Lake so I go there a couple times a month. I've seen some cool bikes parked out on the street. I occasionally check CL for a bike I could keep there, so far no luck.

I'm also located in the Salt Lake Valley. I've been seeing a few CB's pop up on the classifieds and if I wasn't already into my project I'd want to pick one up. Anyway, good luck on the restore/rebuild.

Hey thanks! I think I should have it under control though.. We'll see ;) At this point so far I have built the motor from the ground up while following this page very closely (http://www.eurospares.com/engine.htm) so that I will have a competitive bike while racing. So to answer your question.. Both. Haha I have two sets of wheels/tires to swap over on track days, as well as lights that are removable. :D

Haha They were pretty sweet.. But no, I've got clip-ons on the bike now..

I should have my build thread written up by the weekend. It will be titled "Project CeeBeeThreeFitty DD/Track Bike"
