New guy from Spring TX

Hi guys this is my second post as i just finished posting in the buy section (looking for air box and all the goodies that attach to it). My name is Aaron and im from Spring TX which is N of Houston. Couple months back i purchased a 1975 CB400f. PO put pods on it and moved the battery directly under my ass. He cut out a section of the foam of the seat to get the battery to fit. Ive rode it here and there but trying to get it as dependable as possible as this will be my daily commuter to work. Bikes are fairly new to me and i have been having a blast the times i have been able to ride my baby. I had a 1980 CB650 before the four hundred but was too much of a headache, so i sold and saved up a lil more to get the 400. Talk aboout a weight difference. Maybe one day i can do the ton, closes ive been is 80.

Cool bike, what are you going to do about the front fender for daily riding?

On another note I've been to Spring's Champion's Roller Rink many times over the years for inline speedskating races.. home of the Hedricks!

Hey man. Welcome to DTT. My best friend from high school (up here near Pittsburgh) lives in Spring TX. When looking for a fender you can use one from a CB350f and a cb360. Both of which are identical to a cb400four but likely to be priced way cheaper.

Alrighty fellas, I ordered most of the stock intake system parts to get this girl back to normal, besides the club mans. I need some help getting an idea how to install the battery/air box on the frame, also placement of the electronics. Pics would be greatly appreciated. Seemed like this would be the easiest route, rather than trying to tune bike to the pods. Also pics of under the seat would be nice too. PO built custom battery tray that i need to remove. Thanks again for the help and tips along the way.
