Hey guys I have been checking the forum for a few months now and I finally have my bike, and it's almost done. Just needs a few odds and ends, I got some mirrors today, and ordered a chain cover. Here are a few pictures of it.

It's a 73 CL100 frame, with CB175 Front end, XL100 Engine, Boranni Wheels, Steel tank, Italian lamp, Ebay rear. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks!

Heck yeah man, cool bike! How hard was it to get the 175 front end on there?

Thanks everyone, I spent about 6 hours at the DMV yesterday dealing with California license and endorsements, and then registering the thing. I luckily live close to an office so I literally pushed it there for "verification"

Big Rich, I actually got it with the front end already on it, so I am not positive but it seems like all parts are stock. Also, the front drum and hub are CB175, so I am guessing the forks might not accept the CL hub/drum.

Welcome to dotheton Brother, your bike looks really nice! Me and my Brother used to ride CL100's when we were younger and I would love to have one now!

Thank you! I have been having some issues dialing in the carb, and some exhaust smoke but that's to be expected. I cannot wait until it's 100% and I can take it for a nice long ride.

Looks awesome Shred! Great bike, how much of the work did you do yourself? Also, whereabouts are you located in Socal?

Actually, I got the bike with most of the work done. I wanted to get a blank canvas and build my own off of it, but this was nearly complete and in the style I wanted at an extremely decent price. The price of these old bikes has skyrocketed out here in California. You're lucky if you can get anything decent for $1000

Not to thread jack, just wanted to let rich and everyone know they are direct swaps. Bearing kits are even the same from all balls.

Thanks for answering that. That's why this site is so great and the members knowledge is amazing.

Sorry for the continued jack, but thanks Kanticoy! That makes my project slightly easier.......

I am not sure about the tank, once it's back from the shop this coming week I will check the tunnel and see if I can find any info on it for you guys.

The 175 front end is different and will not fit the 100 frame. I was happy when I read this because I am getting ready to build a 70 CL100 and I have a 71 CB175 front end that I planned to use, but I checked it today and it is the wrong size to fit. The stem is too short and too large in diameter. The one that does fit is the CB125S 76-85 models. Also a number of other Honda models will fit. Refer to this chart: http://www.allballsracing.com/index.php/forkconvertion

Just enter the info in the drop down box for 1970 CL100
