Im Adrian from deep south....Arizona that is.
Well I had been lurking most of the Cafe sites and searching around for a good candidate to cafe out. Came across this 79 Honda CB650 for $800.00 and haven't put anything into it as of yet aside from paint I already had in the shop.
I haven't seen many 650's done and couldn't locate a decent 750 within a reasonable distance and good price so this is what I brought home.
It runs and drives great, had a bit of a cam chain noise at first but I adjusted it and all is quiet now. It came with the Drag bars that are entirely too uncomfortable to actually ride any significant distance with, sooooo...some drop bars are on their way. I don't plan to spend much $$ at all in fact I would rather have the satisfaction of building it myself....for now.(which may end up costing me more in the long run)
Anyhow here are some pics, when I picked it up, and painted.
When I picked her up:
Layed down the paint.(not sure I like it just yet)
and with the stripe on. I think I may add to the stripe, maybe 2 little side stripes.
