Hey guys, been lurking for a while gathering insperation for my current build... its a 1980 CB750C that I picked up for 50 bucks... not a great bike to start with, but the bike kind of found me... guy next to me at work was looking to unload it and I was looking for a project... I'll get some picks/build thread up soon...

Thanks for all the help so far

Jon

nice score on the 750 whats the condition of it? running at all?

truck looks great always been a fan of slammed cars, VWs in particular

The bike is in pretty good shape... for $50 my wife was stunned, i think she expected a couple of milk crates full of parts... It was running before the PO burried it in the back of his garage 4-5 years ago... I threw a battery in it and it cranked over nice and smooth but the carbs were clogged solid... Heres the bike the day I brought it home,

Heres how it sits today... I've been doing pretty well with ebay and swap meets... Im hoping to do the whole bike for less than 2K but im not so sure its possible with my current plans.

And heres the centerpiece of the build... 18" shouldered aluminum rear wheel from a GB500... cant believe I was lucky enough to snag this thing for as cheap as I did
