whats up guys i got a 1979 cb650 its not a cafe but i want it to be i just graduated the motorcycle mechanics institute and loved it im always looking for a challenge be it motorcycles or life in general i dont work currently but soon i might have a job and i will begin the cafe transformation of my honda red head stepchild here are some pics of it the first pic is 15 minutes after i bought it

hope you guys like my bike i know its not perfect or super clean like all the awesome cafe bikes i see but hopefully you guys can give me some pointers and advice on what i should do
 
That's the problem with us TX boys. We're all in the same state but scattered to the wind. I'm from north Houston, but now I'm way up here in the Dallas area.
 
i have actually been considering moving to dallas for a little bit for a job but still no go and where abouts in north houston are you from

i dont know what part of dallas strokers dallas is in but where ever strokers is thats where i might be moving
 
well im have been attempting to shave down my old seat on my 650 but still cant get the strat off the damn seat pan sithout destroying the pan but i am working this weekend at a gun show and getting some money for my gasket set for the motor so hopefully i wont have anyleaks on the bike soon wich will be a miracle but im still looking for carb kits for my bike but to no avail cant find them only for the 1980 and on cb650s if anyone knows where i canget carbs kits for a 1979 honda cb650 please let me know
