Pull the pen and wait for the report
I’m no good at introductions but I will give it a shot. Lol This site was brought to my attain the other day when a member here contacted me about some parts I have. He told me I should become a member he said there was a lot of info to be had so here I am. I have 2 CB 550s in various states of build they are turning in to a fun project. I can’t wait till the day I can rip them around. These bikes have been a change to what I’m use to building and I’m enjoy it. I like the fact that these bikes are cheap to build and with some modern technology they have the potential to be reliable gems.
Some background on me I like to make power where there is a will there is a way as they say. I have been tinkering and building go fast powered what have yous for years. My main focus the past few years has been the diesel arena. I have a wicked Twin turbo truck that has been the brunt of my efforts for some time but now that project has been wrapped up. I went to school for manufacturing I’m a bit of a machinist and welder. I work for company that specializes in air and water purification. My job takes me all over the country these days so I don’t get home much but when I do I can be found in my shop so if you’re nearby stop in but bring the beer.

Cool I had no idea there where so many folks near me. The bikes are nothing special at the moment but when I get home in a few days I will indulge you guys. I don’t have any pics of them in my photo bucket. For now you will have to settle for a few of my truck.

I don’t know of any swap meet in the area but I’m kind of outa the loop with these vintage bikes and the culture.

You know what? I was thinking of Peotone. At the Will County Fairgrounds (there's one in May and another in the fall sometime). I'm actually not sure where Morris is...
