New Guy Northern WI

I've been lurking for a while on this site because I think it's the right thing to do before you jump in and shoot your mouth off. I'm from northern WI and just started a cafe/rat project. Its a 1981 Honda CM400 custom picked it up for about 375 bucks and it was in pretty good shape. Needs a little love. so far I've put on some new cables and redid the back half of the bikes wiring. Oh also gave it the semi flat black paint job. I had chopped the rear section off (was going to do a bobber) but I came to my senses and am doing a cafe style instead. Am really glad to see this site and I'm sure I'll be posting some progress picks along with asking for opinions and questions over the winter......! oh its snowing up here as a type this..........again! I'm also bidding on this seat and tail section....I'm going to be upset if I don't win....

Well I won that seat/tail section auction on ebay so basically all I have left is my fabrication and paint of that , mounting my shorty pipes, handlebars, tail light, turn signals, new rear tire, finish up the carbs just a couple of things....ha ha ha......

Where in northern Wisconsin? How's the snow up there? it's bad enough down here in the brew city, I bet it's even worse up there.

I live in Superior. Yeah it snowed a ton about 18 inches with more up the hill by duluth and two harbors .......Cant wait for spring. Haven't had a bike in about 3 years. I will never hopefully go that long again!
