new guy to the cb's

hi everyone.
first off nice site, alot of cool stuff going on in here with a lot of motivation. i just picked up two cb550's. i am working on getting the one fired up and runnig. gonna make a nice little cafe bike for the wife. hopefully it will be running by the weekend. ???
my other hobbies include air cooled vw's, bikes, and tatoos. i'll post some pixs of the cb's when they start looking like something. for now here is some pics of my current ride.

Welcome man! Nice chop. Did you do that yourself? It's nice! Tip to the old school with the headerwrap! Me, Ive never been into riding the long bikes. They're sweet to look at, but I've ridden my dads a few times and it feels like riding a really fast lawn mower...but thats me. lol Time to build a vintage style go fast ;D

thanks, that bike was 2 years of hard work. i did all the work on it from the paint and powdercoat to the custom oil tank i built out of aluminum. i didnt think it was ever gonna get done. i am looking foward to the cafe build up. i just scored a set of rearsets off a gsxr1000 for it. i am in the middle of the carbs rebuild now.

got lots of love for the vw's. i have two now '66 & '69. they are so much fun to drive. what do you have for vw?
