Hey guys. . New to this and all forums really. I've been into all things two wheeled since I was able to pedal. Motorcycle bug bit me as soon as I had a job. Been tinkering n riding for 12 years now. . Not a pro by any means but I love it just the same.

I currently have:

1972 Honda CL450 - sitting
1972 Honda Z50 - fixing for my daughter
1982 Honda CM450 - driver
1981 Yamaha SR185 no title. . My gravel road fishin buddy
1971 Yamaha R5 newest and current project along with a same year parts bike
This thing needs some love. And pistons. . .among other things.
Not going stock restoration on it. .
I'll get it runnin and add some personal touches. I swear I'll finish it too. . Maybe

So not a lot of progress on the bike itself. Recently moved into a place with a 2 stall and I've been trying to get my shop in order. Got a table rigged up. . . .Workin with what I have laying around. I've removed my stator for a cleaning. . I'm curious if anyone on here has built their own ignition system for one of these . .? I've seen the electronic ignition kits and would prefer not to part with my kidney although the reliability is tempting. Otherwise I'm rebuilding the stock points system. Any ideas are welcome
