Junkyard crawler
Hey all, names Dan and I've been hiding in the shadows for a while. Decided I'd sign up, post some pics, and ask some questions first hand. I've got a 1975 cb550 which is my first bike. It was unfortunately ill-maintained, needing alot of tlc before I was able to be sufficed. Chain and sprockets, carb tuning, points, engine oil, fork oil, blah blah blah. I put about 600 miles on it before I decided to do some front end maintanence, and it's still apart waiting on some new goodies like tarozzi clip ons, 4.5" headlight bucket with speedo, etc. Also, there is a very neat motorcycle bone yard down the road from me that specializes in 70s and 80s jap bikes. Let me know if you're in need of something and I can bop out and take a look. Any excuse to dig through there is a plus. Lots of random NOS stuff in packaging sitting in a bus out back. Just a tetanus shot and it's ripe for the picking.
