Hello everyone. I'm new to this whole world. I was never into motorcycles when I was young but had a burning desire as I approached my 40's. I couple of months ago I picked up a 1980 Yamaha SR250. I'm loving it so far. Over the winter I plan to get it running a bit more optimally. I've really enjoyed looking at some of the other SR250s here. Lots of inspiration for me to get my hands dirty this winter. I'm not one to post much but am really open to others.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll try not to lurk. I'm heading to Rochester, NY (my old hometown), may have to check out RocCity. I'm tempted to strip and bring back to Connecticut some parts off my father's 1977 kz400. Not sure what is useable on it anymore.
