This is kind of a reboot of sorts, i did an intro a while back and i was in the midst of buying a 73 t100 triumph tiger when everything kind of fell through, unfortunately the triumph did not make it into my possession but i still have a line on it and there may be a deal in the future. So after things went south i picked up a 77 suzy gt750 from a guy about an hour from me...i first went to see him about a 74 t500 titan and left with the gt, so after getting it home and started really going over it i just knew it was more than i really wanted to spend on a bike, that and the fact that i just did not really jive with the bike in question...sounds strange i know but after owning 30+ bikes i knew that i just did not want to spend the energy on the bike, so another phone call to said seller of the gt we did an even trade for the t500...super good guy to deal with i may add. so now i have the titan which i really like im just deciding on stock or mild cafe, its on the borderline of being to original to mess with but bad chrome and some missing pieces will cost me to much for a full resto, i gots to do something because its at bare frame stage...how does this always happen ::) My pics seem to be proving a little large to upload or such...ill mess around some and get it sorted

Hi, they are a good old machine, had one myself a few years back. Restored it, had a blast on it for three years, then sold it. I found it for sale again about two years ago and it had not been what I would call 'well cared for'...sellers remorse set in immediately. They are a bit quirky, but fun.
All the best from a fellow maritimer,
Goldy

Thanks Goldie, if you have been in the vintage scene for a while there is a good chance we have crossed paths...ever been to the vintage tt at shubie?...oh I love the triumph by the way, I'm still going to pick the one up that i was going to buy during the summer...British cycle supply is only about a 10 min drive from my house so I'm sure mark will be making a few bucks off of me.
Cheers

Yes I'm sure we have crossed paths, if not then it would have been a near miss. I know the guys at Brit Cycle well, yep, Mark will be happy to take your money! :) I'm just kidding, he actually treats me really, really well. Yes been in this vintage scene for quite a while...been pres of AVMS for about the past 10 years and yes I remember the Vintage TT fondly and miss it a lot.
