new kid from NY/Montreal

Hey all,

I've been lurking around DTT for a while, finally decided to register. I ride an '82 GS750T, she's got clubmans at the moment and should be getting a quarter fairing and cafe seat (leaning toward Roc City's Roadster, but we'll see) and some new paint once I'm back in the states for the summer (grad school in Montreal).

Are there any other members within an easy ride of the Hudson Valley area? There are some great roads, and great pubs in the area, and I'd be up for organizing a group ride this summer if anybody's interested!

Originally from the area, There are a ton a folks down there that ride. Cruise around, you'll find them. Theres the classic motobike show up in rhinebeck in early summer as well.

That's the plan, Jimi. Where did you live? And I'm definitely going to the Rhinebeck show. I've always had to work that weekend, already told my boss I need it off this year. Just found out that a friend got a CB450 over the winter, so there's a start...with him and some DTT guys we should be able to get some group rides going, and maybe even swing down toward NYC on occasion.
