I changed my old lights over to LED turn signals but they only light up. They don't seem to want to flash when i use my turn signal. Could this be a resistance issue with the signal regulator(Nippo)? How is this fixed?
BTW, they were working fine with the old turn signals. I even tried a different signal regulator with no change and i know they both worked before i changed the turn signals to LED.
Get an electronic flasher relay for LEDs from your local auto parts store for <$10. It will likely have three prongs and the third one will need to go to ground.
Also what kind of bike do you have? Does it have a single turn signal indicator? If so, you will have to mod the wiring for that or they won't work. In the meantime, you can just remove the indicator bulb so it doesn't mess things up.
I had the same problem and found out I was putting in the load equalizers in wrong.
you will need them and make sure you put them one end to positive and one to negative.
I thought you put them inline on the positive side as soon as I put them like they should be problem solved.
I can tell you on mine a led relay alone did not work for me.

If you go to superbrightleds.com you can get one shipped to your door for about $12. And I know it'll will work because I use them on all my bikes and my Stepside
Not necessarily. What bike is it going on, and what type (single or dual) dash indicator do you have?
The one you linked to will work in any configuration. You just may or may not end up not using the "P" terminal
