hey there, i don´t really know how to properly introduce myself to this site, so i`ll go straight to the point. I`m from Baja California, Mexico, Mexicali to be more exact. for the last couple of years i fantasized with starting a project and just couldn`t get the basic stuff, a bike. last month i finally came across what i was looking for a 1976 honda cb750f. there are lots of cons at this point, 1st one: i haven`t ride a bike (2 wheel bike) ever, and well i think that says it all. i maybe know more about how the universe was created than how an engine works at this point. but that doesn`t really worries me (don`t know if that bad or good D:. .) i know i`m not the only one that jumped into this hobby or lifestyle for a lot o you, and won`t be the last. Well, i think that makes it for an introduction. Last thing, could somebody tell me where i can get the piston kit i need? i`ve been looking on ebay and doing some internet searching and, maybe it is because i don`t know much about bikes reght now, but i can`t find anything. i`ll apreciatte if somebody could help me.

Hey man! Welcome to the site!
Officially there are three Mexicans with you now over here.
What are you looking for exactly? New pistons for your bike?

hey i've seen your work on pipeburn.com really nice bike i really liked the tail section, actually a friend of mine is planing on buying that same gl125 after watching how yours turned out.
for the moment i'm not sure of what i really want, i'm between the cafe style because of the racing look, on the other hand i like brats because i think they look more vintage. maybe i'll try to pull a little bit of both.
the plan i have for the moment is to get the engine ass good as new, i bought it running but after taking, well to an expert, he told me that the 4 pistons were in really bad condition, seems that the previous owner didn't do the regular engine service. i didnt want to try to fix the engine myself, because as i said, i don't know much about motorcycles, and i didnt want to mess it up.
after i get the mechanical part done, thats when i plan to try to do the rest of the job myself with some help from service manuals i dowloaded. well that's as far as i can go for the moment, i think. about the pistons i'm trying to get the stock ones but the only thing i found was some 836 kits and some used on ebay but i would like to buy them new, if you have any information i would really apreciated. Hope to see another work from CRQ.

when i bought it i only knew that it was running on three pistons, thought that it could as easy as changing a spark plug, but well it wasn't, bad luck.
i want to start a project post though i think it's gonna be really slow haha.
