Just want to introduce myself briefly. I've been trolling on here since lastt November, but just now gettin around to postin up.
I snagged a CB450 last fall off craigslist, and I've been tearing it apart and workin slowly on it ever since.
Last summer I got the bug to build a cafe, but wasn't sure what direction to go. I was interested in GL1000's or possibly a CBX, but I finally came to the conclusion that the CB450 was the bike for me. So eventually I'll get around to posting the progress on the "builds" thread.

I've already learned a bunch from reading threads and posts on this board. This is my first build so I will be soaking up the advice....
There is definitely a wealth of knowledge and a wide variety of of builds here, thats why I like it.
Thanks for havin me, look forward to learning and being a part of this board!

How it all started :

Welcome good to see more people from michigan on here. That is one clean looking bike cant wait to see what you have been doing to it. Last summer there was talk of a ride on here somewhere. I think its time to start that up again.

Bike looks good from a distance, but its got its own story to tell (like most bikes)
But its all part of the build, and I'll get into details when I post it up as a project...

Would definitely be interested in getting a ride together later this summer (once mine is rideable!)
I grew up in the burbs, but I'm in Royal Oak now...
How many other cafe guys are in the area?

nice i'm in royal oak also. we definitely need to get a ride together. I'll have to start a thread in Loungin at da club for Michiganders that don't see this. looking forward to seeing your build come together.

Michigan here too, but Fenton area.

Welcome to the site.

Are you gunna make it to stock bridge this year with that bike? It was September 21st last year, should fall around the same time this year...
