New member from, Milton ON. 1978 CB 750k. First cafe build.

Hi, I purchased my first cafe project a couple of weeks ago. The previous owner (friend)passed away in the summer and had already started the project. He was a big honda cb fan. The Good-The bike already has a cafe seat, handle bars with end mirrors and a nice rear set. The frame and chrome is in great shape. The Bad- I have not been able to start the bike do to the wire harness being melted at some point. Also needs a new rectifier , possibly a regulater. It also has high output coils with a original points system, so I will have to change either the points or the coils. Look forward to making the bike run. If any help or information on buying new or used parts would be great.

Welcome to the insanity, I'm in Dundas, near Hamilton... If you need any help with that wiring shoot me a pm... I enjoy beating my head into problems like that... And nice bike... I like the sohc 750's..
