Hi all, my name is jim. I may only be 24 ........ well 25 this February, but i have a true love for vintage bikes, but kawasaki is at my heart. My first street bike was a 1976 Kawasaki Kz 400 that i turned into a bobber, then i moved up to a 1977 Kawasaki Kz 650 but sadly this past summer she threw a rod on my way to the rocker box bike show up in Milwaukee, hopefully by this summer, i'll be able to have my hard tail all welded on and the fun will start there. I am a big fan of the late "Indian Larry", so my bike will be a montage to his work, simple clean looking short wheel based chop. My most current project that i am full bore into right now is a 1974 Kawasaki Z1 900. She had sat outside since 1982 till i rescued her in 2004, it only has 10,000 original miles. As of right now the frame, swing arm, and body work is all at the painters being shot with gloss black. Everything else, calipers, battery box, triple trees, head light bucket is all at the powder coaters being done in gloss black as well. The upgrades i am making are mag wheels off of an LTD 1000 kawi, GPZ 900 dual front calipers, GSXR 1000 Master cylinders front and back, braided brake lines and so on. Ill be posting up more in the Project area. Thanks a ton guy's, Jim.
