Hello everybody! There comes a time in every mans life where he has to do something reckless and completely against his mother's or wife's wishes and take on a new obsession; the motorcycle. That time has arisen for me! Haha. Hi! My name is Josh, most people know me as Shaggy, even though I'm currently bald. After having my mind set on building a bike for a number of years, my life and budget have finally coincided together to allow me to do thus. Plus my mother recently moved to Maine, and I'm unwed... I picked up 2 bikes, the first is a 81 CB750C that I picked up without title for a scant $100 dollar bill. Flat tires, and a box full of parts, this will be my second project. The second bike which I will finish first as it is more complete is a 73 CB350F. I got this one for free from the aging, and diminishing health, original owner. Last registered and rode in 99', there's much less to get this one up and going. I've read countless builds all over the web, and have been truly inspired. Not only by the quality and craftsmanship that go in everyones projects, but also the help, camaraderie, and brotherhood that this common interest holds. I'm 29, and I live in the Northern Virginia area, so anyone else in the area looking for help wrenching, welding, grinding, hammering, and killing a case of some fine beer, hit me up! Wish me luck fellas, and here's the 350 from a couple days ago...

I'm actually headed to Manassas today to pick up a new Thruxton. Keep it in mind and we could meet up one day if you need an extra set of hands.

Welcome dude,

I'm in Herndon, give me a shout if you plan to be in the area.

Rich./

Thanks for the heads up, guys! Same goes to you! I love turning wrenches, and also work on cars and trucks in my spare time.
