Hi,
I just acquired a well-weathered 1976 Honda CB500T (1st pic) which I'm slowly chopping into a cafe of sorts for my wife. Right now the wiring is driving me nuts (blinker problems, melted starter switch, etc.), but it runs great! I've chucked the stock mufflers (rusty ugly pieces of junk), handlebars, tail lights, and blinkers, and will be moving from there. My other bike is a 1971 BMW R60/5 (2nd pic), which my uncle bought new, and which I have ridden since 1998. That one is mostly stock, apart from the electronic ignition, mufflers, easy-clutch, and R90/6 engine (whee!). It's had a hard life, but runs well so far.
Anyway, I'll be haunting the forums looking for ideas on how to smush those pesky electrical gremlins, and look forward to the Ton experience!
