New member & new project

Ohio CB750

"There are some who call me.....Tim"
Greetings all,

I've recently picked up a new project, a '76 CB750f Super Sport that is in major need of some freshening up. Some of which has already started. Purchased her for a whopping $390, so I'm looking forward to putting a bit more $ into the rebuild. A bit about me, I'm from Columbus, Ohio and have most of my motorcycle experience with sport bikes, so at the age of 33, I've decided to try something different. I worked as a temp for Honda back in '98 in the Motorcycle plant in Marysville on the final weld line building the Goldwing, Valkerie, and Shadow and this is the first Honda bike I've had and I'm looking forward to making some progress.

On to the pictures.

Here she is before I got my mitts on her:

After I got her home and removed a few things:

I've since removed the tank and a few smaller items.

Anyways, that's all for now, but I'll try to keep this updated as more progress happens. Looking forward to finding out more about the site and meeting some fellow enthusiasts.

Well, I know the progress has been very slow going, but with all the other projects I've been working on, I just haven't had much time to work on the bike.

Anyways, here's a few pictures of recent progress.

Nice tear-down so far! I'm diggin that 4 into 1 exhaust except for the muffler. How well does the motor run?

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on that MAC pipe. Haven't heard the motor run, so I'm not sure...getting torn down this winter so hopefully we'll hear it in the Spring.

You lucky dog! I've been looking for an SS with spoked rims at a fair price for a long time. Nice find. Been a fan of that bike since I found a pic of one that sold on ebay, that had been cafe'd. Those bikes have serious potential.
