Reporting in from the Metro Detroit area. What's the scene lilke around here. Seems Ypsi has a scene going. Any ton'rs closer like Royal Oak/Ferndale Area?
 
Welcome man. I'm up in Lake Orion. Dunno how much of a scene there is in Detroit, tho.
 
Welcome to the Ton. Im downriver, not a lot here as far as ton bikes. Im in the land of HD & rockets.
 
Welcome! I'm in Ann Arbor, but there were a couple of people from Royal Oak or thereabouts hanging out here last year.

If you get a chance, you ought to take a ride in to the Ypsi cafe shop some time for bike night or something. Let us know if you decide to do that.

Hello Michigan crew,

I am reporting in from a little town you never heard of about 15 minutes from Toledo. I believe I am the only Cafe in the area.
 
Welcome. Try Royal Oak on Thursday nights. Its mostly sport bikes and crotch rockets but you will see a few cafes in the mix. I live in Bloomfield and frequent Birmingham and Royal Oak areas. Drop me a line if you need someone to meet you out there.

my buddy and I ride old Honda 750's. cafe form- ferndale/royal oak. Detroit is the place to ride.

be careful of heading into Royal Oak on Thursdays. D-bags galore and usually a good place to spot people doing stupid sh!t.

Good point, there are a lot of idiots riding around royal oak on Thursdays. Where do you ride to in Detroit?
 
Usually head down Woodward towards the Boston Edison neighborhood. Head west and take 3rd street down to mid town. From there either keep heading south towards downtown. head east and zig-zag the hood a little bit and make the way to Belle Isle. Sometimes just urban assault all over the downtown area. It really depends. Sometimes I just blast down the Lodge to 94, heading east, then hop on 75 North and shout home. Its a really quick lap from my house in Ferndale.

The brown bike is mine and the black one belongs to Chad (garagemax). Give a shout if you see us we're always out on the weekends.
