Hi all, thought I should get around to officially introducing myself. My name is Tim, I live in NW Washington State. Bought my first bike about a month ago, a '71 CB350 for $60. It sat in a field for the last 3 years with the fluids drained, needless the to say it was in a very sad state, engine was stuck, rust everywhere...
Convinced the wife it would be a wise investment as I could get it running for next to nothing and save money on my 60 mile daily commute. Well... that idea went down the tubes when I stumble across this site. ;D Currently the frame is sitting completely sandblasted, some parts are already repainted, tanked stripped and being prepped for paint. Complete engine rebuild is next.
My wife has no idea how much this project is going to end up costing, and I'm better off keeping it that way.
