New project: 1978 CB750K

I plan on using it for my frame, swinger and rims as well. It is a little salty per can, but whats a few more dollars if it comes out the way you wanted.

That paint lays well, I've heard good things about that Blitz Black but its impossible to find in Canada

Find someone to ship it to you after they go out and by it.

I plan on getting it by the Quart and using a spray gun. I suppose I could get a rattle can or two for touch ups...

As well as it blends with previously painted parts, it wouldn't hurt. My one can has gone a long way lol

Amazing detail on the engine paint. I feel lazy now with just hitting the whole thing black. Thanks
It is tough to not do the same. The only thing really making me take my time is the weather and the fact I don't want to do it again when I rush the first time. I am anxious to start buying cool stuff instead of doing the boring things like this.

You did all that with one rattle can?

Everything so far minus the cases. I still have probably 1/4 a can left and I wasn't shy about thick layers either.

I used duplicolor low gloss engine enamel. Looks like a very similar finish. It lays very nice too. I have been looking around town for some blitz black to compare.

I painted the whole thing like you normally would, then, went back with sand paper on a pencil eraser and carefully sanded the raised numbers.

Finally got my lift back. It takes up a little real estate in the garage but I think it's worth it!

I also received my fuel petcock in the mail. After a little brushing (probably some more later) I think it will look pretty cool.
