That looks great man, but my vote is gold for the secondary color! Gold will look great on that red and it would be a shame not to tie in the color from the motor. Whatever you decide, the red is awesome and looks to be sprayed very well, nice work!
thanks all! A bit about the gold, I agree it would look good but I decided against it for 2 reasons, 1 race teams didnt necessairilly cordinate engine colors into there paint schemes, I think that is more of a custom bike feature, and 2 I am a University of Florida grad, and all I can think of with the burgandy and gold is FSU! Sad I know.... But there is gold on the tank buckle and honda badge so all isnt lost. I feel after my three builds I may be a rattle can master! This one came out pretty good conidering I painted it on top of a garbage can in my carport. Here are some final pics before I make a few changes and add a couple new things. Thanks again for following along!
Ok I must admit that looks beautiful!!! The gold accents would have been a bit too much. The wings, buckle and strap, and the silver stripes all compliment perfectly. Its not over the top its just right. 5 Stars!
thanks all! I did a few little things changed the gold color to a more realistic faux magnesium and added some pin stripes to the tail, ok this will be the last post till finished! Going to try to get it running today. pics
SHE IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!! Gas tank holds well gas, and it runs and sounds mean as hell no joke! I will post a vid if my brother in law will help. I rode it for a second dark no lights in flip flops but I gave it a little twist and I am convinced it will power wheely no problem. We will see. What a goooood night.
Thanks everyone for all the support.
A great feeling for sure. Very cool bike, and being a small bike you can keep it in the house to admire. I'd do a track day sometime this summer to test it? It would make a great video. Love it.
Cheers, 50gary
