I've spent the last three weeks sourcing parts and churning ideas in my head, making a budget, and figuring out how to approach the build. i want to do it in phases so that i can still ride it as the weather permits... the hardest part so far has been seat choice. i like the full rounded look without any flat blunt cowl bits. which leads me to installation questions... which leads me to tail light questions... which leads me to strength and rigidity questions... which leads me back to installation questions...
the bike is a '74 honda cb750. I had one when i was 17 or 18. my first inline 4. damn, i loved that bike. anyway, i just ordered my first $500 in parts, out of a $2200 build budget, and will post some pictures when i make some progress. i just wanted to drop a line and say hello.
