New rear shocks for a KZ440?

I want to replace the old shocks on my bike. It would be nice to drop it a bit, but I want to keep the rear fender. I can't find a spec on what the stock shock sizes are, and I see places like dimecity and ebay have a few different options. Anyone have some recommendations? I would like to start with a black shock and have the spring itself copper plated.

To get the stock measurement of the shock, do I measure eye to eye? Am I correct in assuming that I'm rolling with 13" shocks stock? Or is it very bottom to top? (14.5") Here's a pic eye to eye

Yes shocks are measured eye to eye...just make sure there's no weight on the rear tire to get an accurate measurement.
