new seat and rattle can paint on my cb500

Been Around the Block
Hey guys....
I rattled my tank, side covers and fenders on one of my motos. I painted them last week. I was going with a weathered look. i clear coated yesterday, and the weathered look dissappeared.

It looks black in the full pics but its a wine and royal blue with a flat black pin stripe.

For my tank I needed something definately petrol resistant. I ordered some spray max glamour coat and you can see the before and after of just adding the clear.

Of course it looks good but only till 1.5 feet. I need to sand, but I'm not.

Also got rid of the brown leatherette seat that I made and brought the seat to an upholsterer. Its just the stock seat but shortened in height and lopped off in length.

Here's a couple pics of the product. Before and after clear and closer shot of the colors. I dig on tinkering on this bike and messing with cosmetics.

very nice ;)that looks great !!~ it is so refreshing to see a bike that has not been just beat on with an ugly mallet ;D
some nice shocks in the rear next ?

drilled front sprocket cover, because it's free ;)
and get other headlight ears on her, these don't come out that nice without the long front fork rubbers
