new to Cafes

hello all

I just picked up a 81 cb750 with hopes to turn it into a cafe racer

I would like to see some 81's as all the others seems to be in the 70s

Im looking for some Z bars First then get rid of my seat..... Please lead me in the right direction

dont get Z bars... those are for choppers/bobs/etc... z bars come to too tight of a point in the return of the handlebar. i think you want to look for "clubman" style bars. or, look into getting a pair of clip ons IMO

you could rock like the straight accross style drag bars too if you don't wanna be hunched over quite as far as clubmans/clip ons. my bike had clubmans when i bought it and they kind of sucked until i did up some rear sets to go along with them.

Try ebag or craigslist . And what part of So Cal are you from cause I have freinds who have bike shops some specialize in cafe's

man there are TONS of custom shops for bikes out there. im sure if you call pretty much any custom shop out there they will have some bars, or could make some bars on the cheap.
