But okay I will look and check and let you know of what is happening there as soon as I can.

Sorry the bike is at a friends' garage so I can't immediately do that. But after doing this what would be the next step?
 
Just to clarify, if the bolts are a little loose on the endcaps, the cam will turn as expected? And if they're torqued down, the cam binds up?
 
Correct, if torqued down to spec cam shaft binds, if loosened half a turn or so they spin, but it's probably not a good idea to ride around with those covers not torqued. D:

I have FOUND MY GASKETS!!! :D

Points base gasket (PT#- 30392-283-000) = $1.50
Cylinder head cover gaskets (PT#- 12394-283-000) = $4.00

I hope this is the last thing before she breathes.
