Hi Everyone,

I'm a new Skyteam Ace 125 Owner - live near Guildford in Surrey, England.

The bike is due for delivery in a few days time. Looking forward to my first ride on it.

I have the 303 kit, and the 909 kit from OORacing which I hope to add in stages over the next few months.

I noticed that ooRacing don't provide any instructions with the Kits, I have a mechanic to assist me, but I wonder if anyone has a link to a set of instructions for properly removing the Emissions Control stuff step by step? I have the blanking plate from ooRacing in the 303 kit.

:) Great forum btw, been browsing and reading your posts for a few months now.

Many Thanks
Marc.

Welcome.

Dealer had already removed the emissions stuff for me. I think it is just a matter of undoing bolts. Only trick is to find something to fill (and completetly block so it doesn't suck air) the littlle hole that is in the top of the carb. The screw they used to fill mine looks like this..

Cheers
Richard

It's dead simple.

- Remove the 2 bolts that hold the flanged tube to the RHS of the Head.
- Remove the 2 bolts that hold the EGR stuff to the RHS of the Frame.
- Pull the rubber retainer that holds the EGR outlet off the tab on the LHS of the frame.
- Unplug the rubber line off the inlet manifold.

Remove the entire EGR system, open the bin & toss it in.

- Clean off the remains of the old gasket left on the head flange.
- Bolt on the cover plate & new gasket.
- Plug the inlet manifold as shown by 2B above

Done !

Thanks a lot, that's explained it to me. I had a feeling there was a hole that needed filling with a screw or something. Thanks for the picture as well.

Cheers.
Marc.

When you plug the hole, use some sort of goo, to make sure it is truly plugged. Not sure what they used on mine, but you can see the residue there gathering muck. If there is a gap or the plug falls out, and air gets sucked in here you will have trouble tuning.
